I teach piano, organ, clarinet and music theory, whilst hosting workshops on compositional techniques, accompaniment skills and general musicianship, whilst working freelance as a function musician for private events.
I lived in Rennes, France from 2016-17, specialising in translation, medieval music, and choral conducting, liaising with Loïc Georgeault, the principal organist of St. Malo's and Rennes' cathedrals.
All lessons are individually tailored and paced to suit the student. Specialising in classical piano performance, I am available to students wishing to learn for fun, and/or intending to take exams with ABRSM or Trinity.
“My daughter has been learning to play the piano with Myles for 4 terms now. It has been lovely to find a tutor who comes to our house making life much easier.”
Furthermore, with a breadth of experience in various styles of music, students wishing to learn about the art of accompaniment, ensemble performance, or jazz/pop keyboard studies are very welcome. I hold an Enhanced DBS check for your peace of mind.
Please enquire for more information, or to chat with me about how lessons will work best for you.
